It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Joseph Blanchat (Covington, Louisiana), who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur L Blanchat and Mary C Fitzpatrick Blanchat; his former wife Anne Roach Blanchat; and his wife Dolores Ceceil Montecino Blanchat. He is survived by: his children, Mary B. Manuel (Paul), Thomas Blanchat, Stephen Blanchat (Stephanie) and Alison B. Accardo (Robert); his grandchildren, Chase Manuel (Anne), Robert Accardo, Jr., Natalee Blanchat, Etienne Blanchat, Henri Blanchat and Antoine Blanchat; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy Manuel and Connor Manuel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in memory of Mr. Blanchat to be made to St. Joseph Abbey.
