With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ursula Bordelon Jeansonne of Cottonport, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Miller Jeansonne; her son Dale St. Romain; her parents, Walter B. Bordelon and Angel Mayeux Bordelon; and her sisters, Adele Bordelon, Cesna Gauthier and Henrietta Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby St. Romain, Irion St. Romain, Jennifer Laborde, Kim St. Romain and Billy Jeansonne (Kerri); and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Meagan, Lacy, Paige, Patrick, Christy, Marsha, Allie, Jake, Lauren, Amy and Bobby, Jr.. She is also survived by her loving children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Escude Funeral Home (6608 Porterie St, Mansura, LA 71350). A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (1879 L'Eglise St, Mansura, LA 71350).
