It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Earl R. Self Jr. of Columbia, Louisiana, who passed away on January 22, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Self, Sr. and Mable Moss Self; his wife Elsie Mae; his brothers, David Jr., Eugene and Carl; and his son-in-law Raymond Paul.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Paul of Nebo and Earl Self, Jr. (Dorothy) of Georgetown; and his sisters, Mable Mauldin of Abilene, Shirley Dickey of Rogers, Willie Mae Roberts of Winnfield, LA and Kay Boulding of Oak Grove, LA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren; and also a host of extended family and friends.
