He is survived by: his wife Holly Atwood Smith; his parents, Daniel Smith, Sr. and Shirley Smith; his siblings, William Smith and Cathy Smith Horne (Jeff Horne); his nieces and nephews, Stran Smith (Destinee Smith), Cole Horne, Chants Graff, Hadley Smith, Laurie Graff, Kelly Graff, Maya Graff and Haylee Graff; his daughter Cheryl Laird; and his pet Macy. He is also survived by extended family including aunts and uncles, cousins and the family he created of co-workers.
