He was predeceased by: his children, Lori Ann Hardwick and James Mark Hardwick; his sister Nettie Jean Brewer (Buddy); and his brother-in-law Ovis Herrod. He is survived by: his sons, Herman Hilton Hardwick Jr. and Michael Ray Hardwick (Deseray); his sister Joyce Herrod; and his grandchildren, Heather Brown Heidi Hardwick (Michael), Dalton Hardwick (Lucy), Lawson Hardwick, Brian Hardwick, Aaron Blanchard and Kristin Blanchard. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
