He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Paul Wimberly; and his grandparents, Leonce, Pearl Thibodeaux, Lou and Annis Wimberly.

He is survived by: his mother Ramona Wimberly Burns (Herman); his brother Bill Wimberly (Melissa); and his nieces, Mallory, Sierra and Avery Wimberly. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins.
