He was predeceased by: his parents, Armond Richard and Lena Martin Richard; and his siblings, Armond, Jr., Dudley, Jimmy, Eugene, Robert, Roy, Glenn Richard, Delores Madden and Shirley DiCapo.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy G. Richard of Richard; his children, Matthew (Tammy Richard) of Richard, Curtis Richard of Eunice and Catherine Richard of Opelousas; his sisters, Patsy Curtis of Erwinville and Linda Fontenot of Opelousas; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Ian, Jamie, Adeline, Abigail, Joshua and Delila.
