He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Higginbotham; his parents, Horace Higginbotham and Leediana F. Higginbotham; and his brothers, Gervais, Preston, Warren and Shirley Ray Higginbotham.
He is survived by: his children, Randall (Christine Higginbotham) of Church Point, Kim (Greg Authement) of Carencro and Donna (David Taylor) of Eunice; his grandchildren, Candace (Hayden Godeaux), Casie (Marty Hollier), Connor Higginbotham (Krista Romero), Leah Authement (Hayden McCleary), Hannah Authement, Alexis Taylor, Allison Taylor (Casey Benoit) and Seth Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Asher, Charlotte Godeaux, Halli Hollier and Ethan Guidry.
