He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Lavergne and Pearl Lavergne; his son Eric James Lavergne; his brothers, Wilbert Joseph Lavergne Jr. and Rocky Bellard; his brother-in-law Peter C. Piazza; and his grandson Maverick Lavergne.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Lavergne Miller (Josh), Eve Lavergne Sonnier (Dusty) and Amy Lavergne Bourgeois (Chet); his fiancée Janice Devillier of Church Point; his sisters, Judy Lavergne of Georgia, Delores "Dee" Piazza of Lafayette, Kem Maturin of Broussard and Debra Bellard of Church Point; his daughter-in-law Bracquel Simon Lavergne; and his grandchildren, Jade Richard, Caylee Lavergne, Carter Lavergne, Cayden Lavergne, Case Sonnier, Paisley Lavergne, Averi Simon, Kooper Lavergne, Konnor Lavergne, Wyatt Lavergne and Jax Bourgeois. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and all his cowboy friends.
