He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Carriere and Mary Benoit Carriere. He is survived by: his wife Renola LeBlanc Carriere of Church Point; the mother of his children Leona Daigle Carriere of Church Point; his children, Bryan Carriere (Cynthia) of Houston, TX, Gary Carriere (Lorna) of Sulphur, LA and Carleen Cormier (Scott) of Church Point; and his siblings, Jake Fontenot of Church Point, Betty Ann Thibodeaux (Herman), Bonnie Fontenot Hooper Thibodeaux and Patsy Blum (Daniel) of Lafayette, LA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
