She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Glenn Gardner; her parents, Tanies Leger and Armance Marks; her sons, Darrell Troy Gardner and John G. Gardner; and her brothers, Gervis James Leger, Edward Daniel Leger, George Leger and Lloyd Leger.
She is survived by: her son Tracy Keith Gardner of Mire; and her sister Anna Belle Oubre of Lafayette. She is also survived by six grandchildren; one step-grandchild; three great grandchildren.
She was a member of the VFW #2082 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed devoting her time to doing charity work at the VA Charity Clinic from its inception.
