He is survived by: his nephews, Gale Meche and Kenneth Elkins; his children, Tommy Meche of Lafayette, Dr. Scott Meche of Youngsville, Kathi Barnett (Gary) of Lafayette and Kiki Thibodeaux (Troy) of Church Point; his grandchildren, Gabryelle Vice (Kaleb), Christian Meche, Bryant Meche, Lauren Barnett, Jordan Broussard, Ashtin Broussard, London Meche, Drake Comeaux and Landon Thibodeaux; his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Kole Vice, Chloe and Kamryn Campanile; and his daughter-in-law Carla Meche.
