He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Cormier and Bertha Venable; his grandson Matthew Ian Cormier; and his siblings, Gladys Sonnier and Melvin Cormier.
He is survived by: his wife Drussella David Cormier of Church Point, LA; and his children, Bonnie Cormier Fontenot of Church Point, Susie Cormier Robinson (Kenneth) of Lawtell, Germaine Cormier Robinson (Steven) of Church Point and Barry Lee Cormier (Yvonne) of Church Point. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
