Richard; his stepmother Aline Acosta; his mother Ella Mae Thibodeaux Pitre; his stepfather Leroy Pierre Pitre; his half-brother Paul James "Jimmy" Faul; and his grandparents, Leo Mederie, Adelle Faul Richard, Eugene and Effie Mae Miller Thibodeaux.
He is survived by: his daughter Katie (Kurt Rodriguez) of Carencro; his grandsons, Logan of Carencro and Landon Rodriguez of Carencro; and his half-brothers, Delton Faul of Burkeville, TX, Merlin Lavergne of Kiln, MS and Elroy Faul of Thibodeaux, LA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
