He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Whatley and Leatrice Book Jenkins. He is survived by: his children, Kyna Lea Jenkins-Schadler (Nathan) of Jasper, TX, Jacob Jenkins (Shasta) of Moss Point, MS and Jaron Jenkins (Brittney) of Cleveland, TX; his siblings, Janine Jenkins King (Shelby) of Lake Cove, LA, Alysia Jenkins Silva (Louis) of Clearwater, Cecil Jenkins (Beverly) of Lake Cove, LA and James Murphy Jenkins (Phyllis) of Clearwater; and his grandchildren, Oliver, Jeremiah and Sofia. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
