He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Sr. Foret and Marjorie Foret; his siblings, Timmy, Chris Foret and Belinda Foret; and his brother-in-law Scotty Lirette.

He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Verdin (Nathan); his grandchildren, Alyssia Boudreaux, Jie Boudreaux, Kylee Porche, Ethan Pinell, Destiny Verdin and Drake Verdin; his great grandchildren, Graycie, Rhylen, Paxtyn and Weslynn Kae Jones; and his siblings, Eldon Foret Jr., Kathy Lirette and Kate Antee (Chris). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
