With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Mary Serpas of Chalmette, Louisiana, who passed away on October 29, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Jackson Serpas; her children, Marian Lorraine Alphonso, John Andrew Serpas and William Patrick Serpas (Sherian); her parents, Frank Godwin and Katherine Godwin; and her siblings, Eleanor, Anna, Helen, Edna, Herbert, Lawrence, William, Arthur and August.

She is survived by: her daughters, Melanie S. VanBolden and Lori Ann Serpas. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
