It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Martin Sr. (Chalmette, Louisiana), who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Andres Martin; and his siblings, Andre Martin, Rita Martin, Elodia Martin Guidry and Josephine Martin Cure.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Martin Jr. (Pam), Dean J. Martin (Michelle) and Michelle K. Martin; his stepsons, John C. Mumfrey (Diane) and Anthony F. Mumfrey Jr.; his grandchildren, Dean J. Martin Jr. (Holly), Amy M. Frederickson (Kevin), Kimberly M. Bollinger, Beverly Bollinger White (Corwin), Danielle F. Martin (Allie), Michael Andrew (Drew), Eric M. Martin (Brittany), Dana M. Stitt (Phillip) and Phillip C. Mumfrey; and his siblings, Henry Martin (Linda), Letitia Martin and Alfred Martin (Carmen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
