It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Ann Margiotta of Chalmette, Louisiana, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Margiotta and Anthony "AJ" Margiotta. She is survived by: her children, Keith Battaglia, Jr. (Becky) and Kelly Battaglia; her granddaughter Gabrielle Battaglia; her sisters, Pam Abney (Danny) and Laurie Gioia (Chad); her godmother Mary Cardona; her nieces, Kristen Abney, Candice Schrameyer (Jordan), Lainey Gioia and Taylor Gioia; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aubrey, Caiden and Kenley; her pet Lexi; and her friend Johnny.
