She was predeceased by: her husband Elvin John Fontenot; her parents, Abdon Lemoine and Natalie Lemoine (Couvillion); and her siblings, Joseph K. "Roy" Lemoine, Ernest Paul "Buck" Lemoine, Lola Mae Lemoine and Beryl Angeline Lemoine Mayeaux.

She is survived by: her son Craig John Fontenot; her daughter-in-law Vickie Thomas Fontenot; her grandsons, Christopher John Fontenot and Paul Joseph Fontenot; and her great grandchild Faith Emmalee Fontenot. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
