He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Fairchild Virga; his parents, Pearl Virga (Dot) and Henry Virga; his sister Angelina Cross; and his son Glynn Virga.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Virga (Terry), Michael Virga (Robin) and Pamela Virga (Michael); and his sister Josephine DeSalvo. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
