She was predeceased by: her mother Beverly Smitherman Scott; her sibling-in-law Charlie "Steve" Stockton; her nephew David Scott Jr.; and her grandmothers, Emily Smitherman and Mamie Scott.

She is survived by: her husband William "Butch" Stockton; her child Pakie Ankerson (Wendi); her grandchildren, Louise and Camille Ankerson; her father Buck Scott; her brothers, David Scott (Petra) and Vince Scott; her siblings-in-law, Carey Stockton (Jesse), Dewayne Stockton (Diane) and LaWanda Welch (Dickie); and her nieces and nephews, Chelsea Scott, Dustin Scott, Brooks Rider, Kayla Scott, Kyrstin Scott, Gabriel Stockton, Amber Stockton, Kaitlyn Stockton, Zach Stockton and Savannah Red (Levi).
