She was predeceased by: her parents, Teddy Jernigan and Betty Orlinger Jernigan. She is survived by: her husband Charles Meitin; her siblings, Teddy Michael Jernigan (Judy) and Dawn Lynn Hewitt (Raymond); her stepdaughter Carissa Cadman; her nieces and nephews, Stacy Lynn Hanzo, Teddy Joseph Jernigan and April Cuykendal; and also Abbigail Burr. She is also survived by many relatives, friends and her dear pets.
