She was predeceased by: her mother Grace Kraft Counts; her sister Eula Rea Bruscato; her sister-in-law Joy Thibodeaux (Hilary); and her father Johnny Counts. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Stipelcovich; her children, Russ A. Stipelcovich (Melissa), Robin S Austin (Tim) and Anthony Stipelcovich; her siblings, Jeanette, Fradella and James "Doug" Counts; her sister-in-law Debbie Hankins (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Max, Ryan (Katie), Natalie, Grace and Leah (Seth); her great grandchildren, Eli, Van and Ruby; and her goddaughter Brigitte Ann Antwiler.

Donations can be made in her honor to the Cancer Society or a tree planted in her memory.
