He was predeceased by: his children, Davy Gauthier and Nacy Guillot; his granddaughter Olivia Gauthier; his parents, Euris Gauthier and Lily Redmond Gauthier; and his siblings, Ervin Gauthier, Clyde Gauthier, Russell Gauthier, Ray Gauthier, Ella Mae Mitchell and Cherlyne G. Armand.
He is survived by: his wife LouAnn Ducote Gauthier of Bunkie; his daughters, Lisa Siffert (Andrew) of St. Landry, Tavia Ducote (Blaine) of St. Landry and Karen Kemp (Brian) of Vidalia; and his sister Myrtle Lemoine of Simmesport. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
