He is survived by: his wife Cathy Dykes Snelling of Broussard; his children, Julie Michelle Prem (Michael) of Broussard and Steven Ray Snelling (Jodi) of Lafayette; and his sisters, June Kidd and Sherry Gwyn. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
