He is survived by: his wife Donna Broussard Laviolette; his daughters, Danielle Lara Mejia (Alex), Dawn Stanford (Dave), Damieka Laviolette, Dorothy Laviolette, Destinie Monnin (Spenser) and Daelyn Laviolette (Dylan); his brother Jean Batiste "JB" Laviolette (Brenda); his grandchildren, Desiree Laviolette, Yeblin Yamileth Lara Mencias, Cody Rodrigue, Darlin Alexander Lara Mencias, Shalynn Laviolette, Lance Stanford, Jules Laviolette, Enny Abdiel Lara Mencias, David Laviolette, Trey Lasseigne, Ansley Pierce, Elden Josiel Lara Mencias, Caroline Stanford, John Alex Martin, Jeremiah Pierce, Joseph Laviolette, Isaac Monnin, Leviticus Monnin, Noah Hebert, Zachariah Monnin and Ezekial Monnin; his great grandchildren, Blair Duplechin, Hunter Nezat, Brooklyn Andrus and Elianna Spence; and his close friend Patrick Boudreaux.
