He was predeceased by: his parents, Hanley Celestine and Anna Mae Thibodeaux Celestine; and his siblings, Eva Demouchet, Rita Lewis, Vergie Lewis, Leona Celestine, Leroy, Hanley, Jr. and Ronald Celestine.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Johnson; his siblings, Harold Celestine (Prenella) and Johnella Breaux (Michael Sr.); and his niece Anissa Demouchet. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A rosary will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (610 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
