He was predeceased by: his wife Annie Mae Jones; his parents, McAlvin Jones Sr. and Mable Dede Jones; his siblings, McAlvin Jones Jr., Shirley Ann Barber and Audrey Mae Blanchard; his stepchildren, Dallas Gudry Jr. and Annie Mae Coleman; his aunt Mary Abraham Derouselle (Milton); and his grandparents, Rodney Abraham and Angelina Davis Abraham.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph C. Jones Jr., Joel Hubbard (Regina), Robert Guidry (Tammy), Willie Beverly (Diane), Judy Mixon (Alfred), Cora Thomas and Samuel Guidry; his godson Nolton Blanchard; his brothers, Gilbert Jones (Bettye) and Larry Jones; his cousins, Jeanette, Frank, Toya Gabriel, Fatelt Alsarde and Terrell Fontenot; and his aunt Lou Velma Abraham. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren; 26 Great Grandchildren.
