Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Melvin Lewis Westerfield of Benton, Louisiana, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 78, on November 8, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Westerfield and Louise Westerfield; and his brother Stephen Westerfield. He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his daughters, Tiffany Olsen (Peter) and Marie Canale (David); his grandchildren, Isabella, Olivia, Lena and Joseph; and his brothers, Paul Jr., Michael and William Westerfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St Jude Children's Hospital, or Boys Town of Omaha.
