It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen F. Adkins (Benton, Louisiana), who passed away on March 14, 2019, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Frye and Geneva Elkins Frye; her children, Barbara Adkins Yarbrough and Bruce Adkins; and her son-in-law Mike Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Jones of Coushatta and Susan Lawrence (Robert) of Benton; her grandchildren, Donna Hymel (Chuck), Martha Purifoy (Travis), Allen Jones (Michalle), David Jones (Brandi), Terry Lawrence (Brandi), Matt Lawrence (Jamie), Matt Adkins (Nancy) and Amy Mayfield (Chris); her great grandchildren, William, John, Julia Helen, Daniel, Paul, Ben, Allen Michael, Josh, Kendall, Sidney, Abby, Ryleigh, Kylee, Harper Ruby, Lauren, Logan, Charlie, Cullen, Clara, Reese and Case; and her sisters-in-law, Maxine Adkins Mayo, Christine Eversull Adkins The, Imogene and Melanie Blackwell.
