It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewayne Stephenson of Benton, Louisiana, born in Smackover, Arkansas, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Stephenson and Ardis Simmons Stephenson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hill Stephenson; his children, Rebecca Jeffers (Kerry Jeffers) and James Dewayne Stephenson, Jr. (Wayne); his siblings, Karen Kaylor (Garland Kaylor) and Ray Stephenson (Theresa Stephenson); his uncle Buddy Simmons (Gloria Simmons); his grandchildren, Morgan Rae Hernandez (Andrew Hernandez), Lindsey Bruce, Cody Stephenson (Cindy Stephenson) and Cade Stephenson; and his great grandchildren, Annabelle, Abigail, Austin, Alijah and Alivia Hernandez. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
