It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Sue Balsinger of Benton, Louisiana, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, D. A. Gibbs and Mary Gibbs; and her siblings, Ray, Van, Johnny Gibbs and Barbara Hardy.

She is survived by: her husband Darrell Balsinger; her daughters, Penny Belote Thomas and Lori (Michael Beach); her stepchildren, Leslie Overturf, Jack (Melissa Balsinger) and Jennifer (Van Ryan); her grandchildren, Phillip, Stephen, Michael Thomas, Cody Page, Lexie, Nick, James House, Rachel, Rebecca Balsinger, Mackenzie, Kaylee Ryan, Madison and Kennedy Overturf; and her siblings, Mary-Dean Norcross, Jo Anne Vest, Linda White and Richard Gibbs.
