He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Rumby and Izella Smith; his wife Jonel Rumby; and his grandson Jonathan Rumby. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Wood (Chuck) of Stallsworth, NC, Greg Rumby (Sherry) of Minden, LA, Robin Nichols (Terry) of Benton, LA and Ryan Rumby (Tina) of Phoenix, AZ; and his grandchildren, Morgan Wood, Amy Wood, Genny Hasty, Kadie Jones, Trey Nichols and Zachary Rumby. He is also survived by his 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in his honor be made to, the Alzheimer's Association, Ducks Unlimited, Benton UMC Souper Saturday Senior Outreach, and/or the LA Sheriffs Association.
