He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Kihnel Rodriguez; his parents, Raphael E. Rodriguez Sr. and Druscilla Wiltz Rodriguez; and his brothers, Martin W. "Mott" Rodriguez and Raphael E. "Pookie" Rodriguez Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Todd James Rodriguez (Michelle Williams) and Jennifer R. Splane; his sister Lily Rodriguez Helms; his grandchildren, Reba Rodriguez Loveless (Caleb), Erin Rodriguez, Sarah Splane and William Splane; and his great grandchildren, Rylan Borne, Annie Rodriguez and Emma Loveless. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
