She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxine Fisher Melancon and Wilfred J. Melancon Sr.; her son James T. Roland "Troy"; and her brothers, Wilfred J. Melancon Jr. "Willie" and Harold J. Melancon.
She is survived by: her children, Harry L. Roland III, Douglas T. Roland "Tracy" and Laura (Jimmy Abadie); her grandson Jacob C. Gentry (Jade); her great grandchild Colt T. Gentry; and her siblings, Emily Odom (Don), Roger Melancon (Helen), Carole Melancon "Ducky" and Joyce Leger (R. L.).
