It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry J. Arnaud Sr. of Arnaudville, Louisiana, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Beverly Moran Arnaud; his parents, Albert Arnaud and Angelle Arnaud; and his siblings, Allen Joseph Arnaud, Elridge Jean Arnaud, Clarence Arnaud, Antoine Jean Albert Arnaud, Aline Carson and Thelma Mavis Vige.

He is survived by: his wife Edith M. Olivier Arnaud of Arnaudville; his children, Larry J. Arnaud, Jr. (Lisa) of Sachse, TX, Angelique Arnaud Raezer (Craig) of Philadelphia, PA and Monique Arnaud of Arnaudville; his grandchildren, Brandon Arnaud, Austin Arnaud, Evan Arnaud, Noelle Raezer, Craig Raezer and Jamie Raezer; and his siblings, Woodrow Arnaud of Arnaudville, Emelie Grace Decker of Prairieville, Elsie Landry of Hattiesburg, MS, Seola May Edwards of Woodlands, TX, Margaret Mary Dayon of West Hills, CA and Madeline Angelle Arnaud of Arnaudville.

His love of people and his generosity were apparent in the acts of kindness, charity, support, advice and assistance he often provided anyone in their time of need.

“Larry is a big lose for Betty and I. WE have known the "Big Cajun" since we were in graduate school together and have remained friends for life after graduate school. Beverly was certainly an important part of Larry's friendship and Edith has also become an important part of Larry for our friendship. WE have stayed in touch all these years from his work with the chemical company through his farming and retirement. He was a truly great family man and a friend to many. Jack and Betty Bagent”
