With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Dupuis Richard of Arnaudville, Louisiana, who passed away on December 6, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Dawn Michelle Richard; her son-in-law Kris Melancon; her parents, Clement Dupuis and Estelle Dupuis; her sisters, Eula Mae Addison (George), Grace Taylor (Gervais) and Ethel LeBlanc; her siblings-in-law, Henry Dore, Lloyd Dekerlegand, Abraham Lejeune, Dorphey Romero, Lawrence Richard, Jr. (Gloria), Bob Klinglesmith and Dr. Mary Ann Richard; and her parents-in-law, Wilma, Lawrence Richard, Sr., Pallbearers, Kyle Stutes, Tyler Stutes, Kristopher Richard, Brodie Richard, Michael Richard, Brandon Bergeron and Landon Richard.
She is survived by: her close friend Daniel Richard, Sr.; her children, Wilfred Richard (Stephanie), Mickey Richard (Colleen), Daniel Richard, Jr. (Denise), Jennifer Melancon, Mona Bergeron and Stacie Hebert (Neal); her grandchildren, Kyle Stutes (Dawn), Dawn Gibson (Brian), Lauren Oge (Chuck), Michelle Bergeron, Dr. Kendal Slindee (Alan), Tyler Stutes (Carly), Julia Verlander (Greg), Kristopher Richard (Heidi), Nicole Vincent (Cory), Dr. Lindsey Landry (Chip), Brodie Richard (Kayla Frederick), Lainey Fontenot (Josh), Michael Richard, Brandon Bergeron (Jessica), Landon Richard (Avery Andrus) and Keeley Richard; and her sisters, Sherline Dore and Joline Dekerlegand. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Hospice of Acadiana.
