She is survived by: her son Christopher Jerome Sonnier, Sr.; her siblings, James Daniel Comeaux (Camille) of Arnaudville, Beverly Riggs (Murphy) of Sunset and Geneva Mays (Earl) of Grand Coteau; her grandchildren, Leah Sonnier, Hannah Sonnier, Jasmine Sonnier and Christopher Sonnier, Jr.; her godchildren, Curtis Gradnigo and Ivy Roberts; and her close friend Philomena Mayon.
