He was predeceased by: his parents, Polan Guidry and Sybil Hall; and his grandson Donald Joseph Guidry III. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Guidry; his siblings, Rylan "Joe" Guidry, Sharon Cline and Sheila Hubbard; and his children, Donald Guidry Jr., Anthony "Tony" Guidry (Sophie), Randy Guidry (Mavis) and Peggy Guidry (Joey Santangelo). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
