It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Abercrombie (Arcadia, Louisiana), who passed away on June 13, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Abercrombie; her siblings, Doris Keen and Ardis Chandler; and her stepsiblings, Joel Chandler and Dorothy Dance.
She is survived by: her children, Sharalyn Pickett (Ken), Pat Abercrombie and Gerry Abercrombie; and her siblings, Cloe Woodard, Johnnie Lear, Gloria Johnson and Peggy Hamel. She is also survived by wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.
