With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillie Ann Grabert Estay of Amite, Louisiana, born in Lockport, Louisiana, who passed away on December 9, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Paul Estay; her parents, Wildon Grabert and Noelie Grabert; her daughter Veronica Estay; her great grandchildren, Claire and Noah Estay; and her siblings, Leola Griffin, Lula Mae Griffin, Lorella Estay, Lorrina Folse, Deme'Grabert and Elyose Eschette.
She is survived by: her children, Verna Estay Thompson (Ladale), Michael Paul Estay (Catherine), Joe Joseph Estay (Paula) and Lionel Joseph Estay (Michelle); her sister Louella Grabert; her grandchildren, Landon Estay (Alisha), Jarrod Estay, Crystal Durbin (Dusty), Jason Thompson (Laura), Jacob Thompson (Ashley), Gavin Estay and Gabriel Estay; her stepgranddaughter Hayley Broyles; and her great grandchildren, Abigail, Caleb Estay, Micah, Wyatt, Hallie Durbin, Cherokee, William Thompson and John Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Kedron Baptist Church Children's Playground, St. Jude's, or the Alzheimer's Association.
