With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phill G Scott (Winchester, Kentucky), born in Huddy, Kentucky, who passed away on November 5, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Larry Scott (Frankfort). He is survived by: his wife Sally Scott (Blankenship); his brother Brett Scott (Frankfort); his children, Shaunna Scott (Keith Barton) of Bloomington, IN and Brent Scott of Cayce, SC; his granddaughter Hannah Barton; his great grandchildren, Emma and Nola Barton of Bloomington, IN; his sister Dixie Patterson (Georgetown); and his brother-in-law Tom Blankenship of Bon Aqua, TN. He is also survived by niece, four nephews, and two grand nieces.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations either to Hospice East or to Winchester Little League. Donations to Hospice East may be mailed to 407 Shoppers Dr., Winchester, KY, 40391.

“Phil Scott was a great teacher and friend. We crossed paths about 13 years ago. He helped coach my son in middle school baseball. Baseball was his passion and man did ever know the game. I will always say if he did not teach the kids anything he at least taught me. The only times I seen Phil after my son’s middle school days was at Lykins Park watching little league baseball. Rest in Peace Obiwankanobe. Sincerely Steve Davis”
