He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Meece and Wanda Meece; and his siblings, Lena Skinner, James Meece and Guy Matthew Meece.
He is survived by: his brothers, Charles Meece (Gayle), Dan Meece (late Melissa) and Gene Meece (Stacy); and his stepsons, Allen Shafer and Robert Shafer (Melinda).
Memorial donations may be made to the Grant County KY Animal Shelter, an organization that reflects his compassionate spirit.
