We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Flora Prewitt of Williamsburg, Kentucky. As Flora departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Flora. Though Flora may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Greene Ellis and Nannie Patrick Ellis; her husband George Prewitt; her brother James Ellis (Peggy); and her grandchildren, William Green, Brandon Riley and Amy Springston.

She is survived by: her children, Keith Prewitt (Stephanie), Kenneth Prewitt (Jan) and Kathryn Clouse (Dale); and her siblings, Bessie Siler and Dr. George Ellis (Joyce). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ellison Funeral Home (512 Main St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
