He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Collins and Corrine Collins; and his siblings, Effie Mae Pugh, Doris Jean Ritchie, Sonny Collins, Freddie Collins and Kerns Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Syvilla Collins; his children, Clay Collins (Robin), Tommy Collins (Billie), Christopher Collins (Jennifer), Eva Marie Hammonds (Jeffery) and Sylvia Dee Hammonds (Ronnie); his stepmother Polly Collins; his siblings, Lovell Collins, Oscar Collins (Barbara), Wesley Collins (Teresa), Johnny Darrell Collins (Judy), Evelyn Smith, Donna Collins, Danzel Pugh, Judy Collins, Christine Costa (Rick) and Rose Pugh (David); and his stepbrothers, John Paul Morton, Charles Morton (Evelyn) and Stephen Morton (Amy). He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
