He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Vandiver and Vannie Vandiver (Oglesby) of Nortonville; and his brothers, Leslie "Cricket" Vandiver, Wesley "Timer" Vandiver, Charles Henry Whitfield and David Hayden Whitfield.
He is survived by: his wife Sherri McCay Vandiver; his daughters, Keri Russell (Douglas), Tabitha Vandiver and Wendy Gary; his grandchildren, Shelby Gary, Brooklynn Miller (Travis), Alli Johnson, Brandon Gary, Zachary Martin, Chase Dunn, Cory Martin and Joshua Martin; his great grandchild Declan Miller; and his sisters, Dottie Gower, Shirley Ramsey, June Cartwright and Marie Vandiver.
