He was predeceased by: his father Carl B. Stapp Jr.; his grandparents, Carl B. Stapp Sr., Bernice Stapp, Welby and Ruth Whitefield; his uncles, Jerry Stapp, Ronnie Stapp and Clarence Whitfield; and his stepfather Warren Teague.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Whitfield Stapp Teague of White Plains; his daughters, Evelyn Stapp and Katherine Dickerson of Madisonville; his siblings, Jonathan Stapp (Kristen) of White Plains and Kim Peebles of Hopkinsville; his aunts, Barbara Whitfield of White Plains, Ina Kembel of Madisonville and Patsy Tooley of Paducah, KY; his nieces, Briley Shemwell, Hadley Stapp of White Plains and Adrienne Peebles of Hopkinsville; and his nephew Thomas Peebles of Hopkinsville.
