He was predeceased by: his brother Van Newberry; and his grandparents, Albert, Myrtle Wallis Newberry, Pete and Gertrude Stevens.
He is survived by: his parents, Wilma Newberry and Martha Stevens Newberry; his daughters, Elesha Newberry (Felix) of Okemos and Beth Newberry Gurney (Jacob) of Louisville, KY; his siblings, Danny Newberry (Joy) of Kevil, KY, Brandon Newberry (Robin) of Kevil, KY, Anne Newberry (Rick) of Murray, KY and Jana Mansfield (Lynn) of West Paducah, KY; his sister-in-law Cecilia Newberry; his grandchildren, Lorelei, Eleanor, Ada and Tillman; and the mother of his children Arlene Moore. He is also survived by twelve nephews and nieces and thirteen great nephews and great nieces.
