He is survived by: his wife Rita Mae Cornett Gunnell; his siblings, Bert Gunnell (Faye) of Mount Sterling, KY, Bobby Gunnell of West Liberty, KY, Martha Irene Roe of Middletown, OH and Marie Engle (Ray) of West Liberty, KY; and his mother-in-law Wanda Bailey of West Liberty, KY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
